Mary and Gabriel celebrated their wedding at The Wool Tower on December 19th. From the early morning preparations, we were there to capture every touching and joyful moment. Mary spent the morning with her closest bridesmaids, sharing laughter and emotions. The makeup artists and hairstylists did an outstanding job, ensuring everyone was ready on time. In Mary’s case, she took a moment to visit her grandparents, who couldn’t attend the wedding, and even made a quick stop at the school where she teaches to surprise her students. It was an incredibly touching moment. Though we weren’t permitted to film inside the school, we couldn’t resist capturing this special interaction.

Speaking of photography—on this particular wedding, my wife was the photographer. Working as a team, we complement each other seamlessly, ensuring the best shots without interfering with one another’s work. If you have the option to book a photographer and videographer as a package, we highly recommend it. A well-coordinated team guarantees a smooth experience and exceptional results.

The Importance of Drone Footage

One of the many reasons we love filming at The Wool Tower is its magical lighting. The banquet hall is beautifully illuminated, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere. Another major advantage of this venue is the opportunity to use drones. A videographer with a drone is essential for capturing breathtaking aerial shots. We make it a priority to use our drone at least three times throughout the day. Unfortunately, some videographers advertise drone services but never actually use them—so be sure to discuss this with your videographer in advance!

We are obsessed with sunset shots! If you're a creative couple, trust your photographer and videographer when they suggest taking a moment for golden-hour footage. It’s absolutely worth it—just go with the flow! (LOL)
